Hi guy, due to recent events with the lack of numbers, the officers have decided to merge with Children of the Sun. They are a fun social kin which have also taking a hit with loss of players. So hopefully by merging will give us more opportunity for group play/instances/raids. Wil leader of Children of the Sun says we are all welcome. So if interested please ask in game and visit kinsite. ( Any question please ask as i will still log onto kinsites. I'm gonna leave Ramken in the kin for now for anyone to speak to me there. Its been a pleasure leveling and grouping with you guys and hopefully you will join us on the other side.

Hi guys,

For anyone who doesn't know there has been a few changes in kin.
Unfortunately Goldy and Dread are moving home next week and are unable to get the internet for about 12 months:(
This doesn't mean they won't visit from time to time:)
Just hope the move goes well for you both, and return asap:)

So for this reason leadership has been passed onto me and the new raid leader has been assigned to Andy(Jorogo).

Hey BoW Kinnies!
There’s been a few questions and conversations recently about our kin – objectives and purpose type of stuff so here’s some highlights on how the officers see the kin.
Firstly, we’re a social first kin – we want a friendly atmosphere that people can enjoy in the game, whether solo-ing or grouping so this objective sets our main rules for the kin:

1) BoW expects people to respect others and use common sense
2) Keep kin-chat clean – a bit more leeway on our TeamSpeak channel but see rule 1!

Being a social kin we have a TeamSpeak server and all kinnies are welcome to use this at any time, you don’t need to be grouping up to just log in for a general chat and a laugh. If you haven’t used it, it’s a free install of TeamSpeak3 client to get started, so please come join us!

Secondly we do enjoy our grouping up and raiding, although not at the cost of being social. Pre-Rohan we cleared the end game raid on T1 and had a good crack at some T2 wings. If you’ve not done raiding before don’t worry – we’re happy to have you in, the one big caveat to this is:

3) Please Sign up!

Organising bigger groups takes time, it’s much easier if we use this site to group up in advance with sign-ups. Not sure you can make it but are interested? Sign up as a maybe!
If you sign up you get a place. Anyone who doesn’t sign up but hopes to drop in on the night will be bottom of the list when the group forms up: not knowing you would be there, we may have organised for Allies to fill the remaining spaces...

Don’t be shy about telling officers if there’s instances you want to have a crack at, we won’t force anyone else to be in any instance but we’ll do our best to get an event set up for you.

On a last note, how we see the role of the officers. BOW isn’t a military style kin, we are an open and relaxed kin. Officers are to ensure that we keep the social side of the kin, not all officers will be raid leaders (not all raid leaders may be officers!). If you feel like doing something in particular, you don’t need to get an officers permission to start, just ask in kin who feels like doing that.

Thanks for wading through my essay and shout if anything didn’t make sense! :)

As you are all aware myself and Dread will not be on as much as we would like at the moment due to Real Life :( but i should be back on lots after we know what is happening. The officers will be holding the fort when we are not on :)

Hello Kinnies

Firstly I would like to say a warm welcome to our newest members. We will all get too know you personally :) . If there is anything that you need help/advice on then please do not hesitate in asking one of us we are always willing to help fellow kinnies out.

As most of you are aware is officers have decided on a "Loot Council" for when we go into our raids, for more details then please look at the post in the forum.

We have started to put aside one nite a week for the more experienced raiders.

I have to say we have changed the raiding times too later in the evening as it suits the majority of kinnies. So to secure you place in the raid then you MUST sign up on the callander. If there is a problem then just add a note saying that you may be late or something, just so we know what is happening as we may be able to wait on you if we dont have the sign ups but other wise we will use the reserved peeps.

Officers have talked and have come too the decision that we only need to have the support classes open for recruiting due to our burst in numbers we have recently had :)

If you have anything that you feel that officers need to talk about then please do not hesitate in telling one of us.
